No. Use your existing Lumen ID. The app may ask you to sign in again the first time, especially on Apple devices. Your connections, permissions and security methods stay in place.

A dedicated window on your computer
Chrome and Edge on Windows, macOS and Linux. Menu names vary by browser version.

Open Lumen in Chrome or Edge
Use a regular browser window. Installation may be unavailable in private mode or managed profiles.

Choose Install Lumen
If the install button is unavailable, look for its icon in the address bar. In Chrome, also check the menu → Cast, save, and share → Install page as app. In Edge, check the menu → Apps.

Keep it where you need it
Confirm installation, open Lumen and optionally pin it to your taskbar or Dock.
An internet connection is required to sign in and use your services.

How do services open?
Open them from Lumen as usual. Secure sign-in and external products may open in a browser window, depending on your device. Installing the app does not require another registration.
I cannot see an install button
On iPhone, iPad and Safari on Mac, installation uses the browser menu. Elsewhere, check regular browsing mode, browser updates and work-profile restrictions. If Lumen is already installed, open its icon. You can always keep using the website.
Do I need to update manually?
Lumen loads the latest version when you reopen it online. There is no need to reinstall. If you still see an older interface, close the app window and open it again.
